LANCASTER FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 291 ENDORSE TATMAN Again!

Again the Lancaster Firefighters Local 291 endorse City Council President Carl Tatman in his bid to retain the Council President seat. This is the second time Tatman has recieved the firefighters endorsement. According to the endorsement letter sent to President Tatman, "The candidate screening process brought light to the fact that you are a true fire service supporter. Your ideas and activity reverberates among the membership of our union."

LEWIS H URLING STATESMANSHIP AWARD

March 2005 - Fairfield County Lincoln Republican Club awards the Lewis H Urling Statesmanship award to Lancaster City Council President Carl Tatman.

President Tatman joins past award winners such as Steve Davis, Judge Chris Martin, Tim Schaffer, Judge Steven Williams, and others. The award is given each year to a resident of Fairfield County who during the past year has demonstrated outstanding statesmanship in service to Fairfield County.

FEEL THE HEAT

Then Councilman Tatman, along with Mayor Smith, Service-Safety Director Jackson, Councilmen Tom Stoughton & Walt Arrowsmith attended “Feel the Heat” in April of 2004 at the State Fire Academy. Officials suited up as firefighters and used fire equipment and procedures in controlled situations.
